This policy explains how Scottsdale Ventures Ltd ("JitsAI", "we", "us") handles information when you use the JitsAI mobile app, website and related services.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, user ID, authentication provider and profile details.
- Training information: belt, goals, techniques, focus progress, schedules, gyms, partners, sessions, sparring results, notes and content you create.
- Health and fitness information you choose to provide: workout, recovery, sleep or wearable-derived information.
- Media: photos and voice recordings you choose to upload. Voice may be processed transiently to create text.
- Purchase information: product, entitlement and transaction status supplied by Apple, Google Play, Stripe or RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card details.
- Usage and device information: app interactions, screen views, diagnostics, approximate location derived from network information, device or advertising identifiers, and attribution information.
- Messages: coach-chat prompts, replies and support communications.
How we use information
We use information to provide and personalise JitsAI, maintain your account and entitlements, analyse and improve the product, produce training insights, communicate with you, prevent abuse and fraud, comply with law, and measure the performance of our marketing.
Advertising and attribution
We may send limited app-event, device, approximate-location and purchase-attribution information to advertising and analytics providers, including Meta, to measure campaigns and improve acquisition. When you buy, we may also send Meta and Google a hashed (one-way scrambled) copy of your email address so they can match the purchase to an ad you saw; the address itself can't be read from it. On supported devices, your operating-system privacy choices—including App Tracking Transparency on iOS—control access to advertising identifiers. We do not sell your personal information.
Website analytics
On www.jitsai.com we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see which pages people visit and whether they go on to start the quiz. Visitors in the UK and European Economic Area are asked first, and it only runs if they accept; elsewhere it runs by default. To change your choice or turn it off, clear this site's data in your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. We don't use these cookies for advertising.
We also count page views on www.jitsai.com ourselves, without cookies. For each page view we record only the page address, the website you came from (just its name, such as google.com, not the full link), any campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), whether the screen is phone-sized or larger, and the time. When you click a link to the app stores, the quiz or an event's sign-up page, we record which kind of link it was and the website it goes to. Nothing is stored on your device, we don't record your IP address, and each page view gets a random number that is thrown away when you leave the page, so we can't recognise you from one visit or page to the next. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, we record nothing. We use these counts only to see which pages are useful, never for advertising.
Service providers
We use specialist providers to operate JitsAI, including Supabase for authentication and application data; Amazon Web Services for infrastructure and analytics storage; RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play and Stripe for purchases; Amplitude for product analytics; Google Analytics for website analytics; Meta and Google Ads for advertising attribution; and AI providers for coach features. These providers process information under their own terms and our instructions where applicable.
AI coach
When you use coach features, relevant prompts and training context may be sent to our AI service provider to generate a response. Do not include information you do not want processed for that purpose. AI responses are educational and are not medical advice.
Legal bases and choices
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, comply with legal duties, or rely on consent where required. Optional profile, media, health, wearable and marketing permissions can be withheld or withdrawn.
Retention and security
We retain account information while your account is active and thereafter only as needed for legitimate business, security, tax, accounting or legal purposes. We use technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. You can delete your account in the app or follow our account deletion instructions. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
JitsAI is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer the service to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as JitsAI evolves. We will publish the revised date here and provide additional notice where required.
